Adith Arun

Biography:

Actor Thrigun, formerly known as Adith Arun, is from India. He has acted in supporting parts in Telugu and Tamil movies. Thrigun’s parents were single when he was born, and he attended Vizag for his education before pursuing journalism at Madras Christian College. Prior to entering the theater, he performed in over twenty semi-professional productions, including shows for the Madras Players and Boardwalkers, and a few short films.

During an audition for Inidhu Inidhu, the Tamil adaptation of the Telugu movie Happy Days from 2007, which Prakash Raj was producing, Thrigun got to know Prakash Raj. He met additional producers through Prakash Raj and signed on to play the lead role in the 2009 Telugu thriller film Katha. Genelia D’Souza was also in the film, which was well received by critics when it was released. One reviewer said that he had a “fairly competent” debut.

He was signed by Narayan Nagendra Rao in 2010 to work with Regina Cassandra, who he had previously starred with in the short film Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppadi, in Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathilaey.But due to a production delay, Aari and Shubha Phutela took their position. Only released in 2010, Inidhu Inidhu was a box office bomb with minimal publicity at the time of release. Theneer Viduthi (2011), his subsequent Tamil film, received a similar reception.

His next Telugu release, Weekend Love, was a flop in 2014 and received only mediocre reviews. Although receiving favorable reviews, his eagerly awaited Telugu film Tungabhadra, directed by Sai Korrapati, failed to make an impact after its March 2015 release. In 2017, he costarred with Telugu actors Navdeep and Tejaswi Madivada in the Yupp TV web series Mana Mugguri Love Story. Positive feedback was received, and the series was a success.
