The non-theatrical rights of Pushpa: The Rise were sold way before the release of the movie. This turned out to be a huge loss for the producers, and there were even several issues with the Hindi rights of the film. As a result, the producers decided not to rush with the rights for the second part of the film, and are only interested in selling the rights to the second part after the release of the film.
According to the latest reports, Allu Arjun is said to have turned down a huge deal that came for the film, as no one is in the mood to take any chances with the film. On the other hand, the script work for the second part is said to be nearly done, and the pre-production for the film has also come to the ending stages, with the shooting expected to take place from mid-August.
Pushpa: The Rule will see all the original cast returning, with some new cast members set to be added. It is also being said that there’s the possibility for a third part in the franchise.
