Will Mahesh break his summer jinx?

According to urban Hyderabadi legends, Mahesh Babu is wary of summer releases. But maybe not anymore! Mahesh Babu’s ‘Brahmotsavam’ up for release on May 20, which is this Friday. Before this, the nine films that released were not in the summers because he faces the summer jinx.

However, for certain reason Mahesh and his team must have felt confident about this movie’s box office performance and maybe that’s why they weren’t scared of a summer release. Last time Mahesh scored a blockbuster in the summer was way back in 2006, when Pokiri released. The movie also stars  Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Pranitha Subhash. The pre-release business of the movie has been really good to say the least and the promotions and hype generated had also been quite a bit.
