Government Bans Benefit Shows And Ticket Hikes

The tragic stampede at Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of Pushpa 2 has left the government furious. The incident claimed the life of a woman named Revathi, while her son, Sri Tej, is undergoing treatment at KIMS Hospital.

During today’s Assembly session, Revanth Reddy’s government announced a significant decision that will impact the film industry.

Cinematography Minister Komati Reddy stated, “Benefit shows will no longer be allowed in the state, and ticket rate hikes will not be permitted”.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy added, “Filmmakers can do business and earn profits, but not at the cost of human lives. After this loss of life, my government has decided to withdraw special privileges for the film industry”.

Actor Allu Arjun, who was arrested in connection with the stampede, was released on interim bail granted by the High Court.

The Chief Minister criticized the film industry, saying, “No one cared about the grieving family. Instead, celebrities were busy visiting Allu Arjun’s house and tweeting against the government”.
