Warrant

Story:

Warrant is a crime thriller television series in Tamil language which is set against the backdrop of the rough and tough rural policing and crime investigation. This show has been directed by Vignesh Natarajan and features Koattai Karuppusamy, a second-grade constable who is a mild-mannered man who gets humiliated frequently by his subordinates at work because of his submissive nature. But after some difficult experiences, he changes and gradually becomes a hard-core policeman with an intimidating nature.

The series belongs to the same universe of Vilangu. While it deals with the reality of crime investigation in a rural setting, it does not go for unrealistic elements like those seen in many other films where the hero is always larger than life. Here, the hero gets entangled in various cases that force him to face issues related to morality, law enforcement, violence, etc.

The cast includes Prasanth Pandiyaraj, Balaji Sakthivel, Kaali Venkat, Namritha MV, and Arul Dass. It is produced by Sivan Pictures and S Studios and has been released on ZEE5.
