Khauf

Story:

Khauf is a Hindi thriller series based on psychological horror. It revolves around Madhu, a young lady moving to a hostel in Delhi with hopes of starting a fresh chapter in her life free from past traumas. But soon enough, Madhu comes to know that the hostel has some dark secrets along with supernatural phenomena linked with it. Strange happenings, scary dreams, and paranoia start increasing day by day until Madhu finds herself lost in a nightmare in which the line between reality and fear begins to blur.

Trauma, isolation, mental disorders, and vulnerabilities of women are the themes addressed in the series using horror story elements. Psychological suspense and supernatural horror merge together to create a frightening experience for viewers through eerie images, suspenseful moments, and mysterious activities.

Khauf was written by Smita Singh and directed by Pankaj Kumar and Surya Balakrishnan. The cast includes Monika Panwar, Rajat Kapoor, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Shilpa Shukla, and Chum Darang. The series is a product of Matchbox Shots and airs on Amazon Prime Video.
