Venkat Prabhu Says That Vijay Was Not His First Choice For “The GOAT”

“The Greatest of All Time” (The GOAT), featuring Vijay Thalapathy in dual roles and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead, is set to be released this Thursday that is on the 5th. The film is directed by Venkat Prabhu.

In a recent interview Director shared that he originally wrote “The GOAT” with Superstar Rajinikanth and Dhanush in mind, envisioning them as a father and son duo.

However the plan did not work out and then after Vijay took on both roles. This film also boasts a strong cast, including Prabhudeva, Prasanth, Sneha, Jayaram, and several others.

Produced by AGS Entertainment, with Archana Kalpathi and Kalpathi S. Aghoram, and the music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Fans are saying that if both Rajinikanth and Dhanush had acted in the film, the hype would have been twice as great.
