Samantha starts her U-Turn!

Samantha Akkineni has been in great form and speed these days. She is working non-stop in some big films without taking big gaps in between. After 2016, Summer, she is again taking on 2018 Summer with more than 4 films to release during the season. She has two Tamil and Two Telugu films to release in Summer.

She recently, completed her work in Rangasthalam and most of her shoot for Mahanati is also completed. She has Irumbu Thirai/ Abhimanyudu with Vishal, due for a release. Now, along with Siva Karthikeyan’s Tamil movie, she started a remake of Kannada popular film, U-Turn. From over a year, she has been trying to adapt it into a film and finally, she made it.

The movie is based on the road accidents and Samantha is said to be playing the role of the journalist, the main lead. She started shoot of the film recently, from Rajahmundry. The movie is being directed by original movie maker, Pawan Kumar, who made Lucia too. This movie could release by the end of this year in both Telugu and Tamil.
