Rana and Venky to do that Malayalam remake?

For more than 2 months, Ayyappanum Koshiyum, Malayalam film remake has become a big news all around. Several Telugu film producers are looking to remake the film and Balakrishna’s name popped up a lot in many reports as one of the leads. Now, we hear that Suresh Babu got the rights of the film and Rana, Venkatesh will star in the film after Venkatesh finishes Naarappa. The team Naarappa is not in any hurry to start the film shoot immediately after lockdown is lifted.

They would love to start production after the cases reported come down considerably or at least the news about theatres opening soon, is announced it seems. For now, Suresh Babu has asked all the writers, directors engaged in various productions on his banner to write scripts keeping everything that is going on in mind, it seems. The official details about the remake of the film and who will star in it and who will direct it, will only come post lockdown is lifted or at least the things slowly seem to get back to normalcy.
