Pooja Hegde Confirms Telugu Comeback

Pooja Hegde has been away from Telugu cinema for nearly three years, with her last appearance being in Acharya.

Pooja shifted focus to Bollywood taking on big projects alongside stars like Salman Khan. Now she’s back in the spotlight with her upcoming Tamil film Retro and has begun promoting it actively.

Speaking about her absence from Telugu films, Pooja clarified that it wasn’t intentional. “I didn’t step away from Telugu films I just wasn’t finding the right script” she said.

She confirmed that she has now signed a new Telugu project, though she’s keeping details hidden for the time being. “I’ll reveal more at the right time” she added with a smile.

Her fans especially in Telugu states, are thrilled about her return and are eagerly waiting to know more about the film’s story, genre and who will star opposite her. Expectations are already high.
