TheatreTarun, Saloni, and Raja feature in Ramesh Varma’s 2005 Telugu love film Oka Oorilo, which translates to “In a village.” Devi Sri Prasad composed the soundtrack for the movie. In a secluded village, Seenu (Tarun), Lalitha (Saloni), and Ravi (Raja) were childhood buddies. As a child, Ravi moves to the city and stops communicating with Seenu and Lalitha. Growing up together, Seenu and Lalitha fall in love, but Seenu’s father disapproves of their relationship. After fleeing their homes, Seenu and Lalitha encounter Ravi by chance in the city. Ravi offers them a place to stay at his house, but Seenu abruptly starts acting strangely. The conclusion of a love tale that began in a village takes up the remainder of the narrative.
