Story:

The teaser for Tamil and Telugu actor Vijay Antony’s upcoming fantasy murder mystery, Maargan, was released on Monday, May 26. The film, which was directed by editor Leo John Paul for the first time, will be released in theaters on June 27.

Vijay Antony plays Dhruv in the teaser, a senior ADGP from Mumbai who travels to Chennai to track down a serial killer who uses a startling method of execution: injecting his victims with a chemical that causes their bodies to burn. As anticipated, we witness even Dhruv receiving an injection of the enigmatic substance, which leaves one side of his body entirely scorched.

Dhruv and his group eventually focus on Tamilarivu (Ajay Dishan), a suspect who is placed in solitary confinement “to bring out the devil in him.” The last scenes of the trailer give the impression that perhaps referring to Tamilarivu as a devil wasn’t merely a figure of speech, as he battles to save his sanity within those boundaries.
