Story:

Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh is a Hindi thriller directed by Sujoy Ghosh and serves as a spiritual sequel to the 2012 film Kahaani. The movie stars Arjun Rampal and Vidya Balan in the lead roles, with Jugal Hansraj, Kharaj Mukherjee, and Tunisha Sharma in supporting roles. The film’s music was composed by Clinton Cerejo.

The story follows Vidya, who lives in a small town caring for Minnie, a paralyzed girl. When Minnie is kidnapped, Vidya embarks on a rescue mission but ends up in a hospital after an accident.

Filming took place from March to May 2016, and the movie was released on 2 December 2016. It was made tax-free in Uttar Pradesh on 15 December 2016. Vidya Balan’s performance earned her a Best Actress nomination at the 62nd Filmfare Awards.
