Story:

Debutant Vivek Athreya’s “Mental Madhilo” charmed hearts in 2017 with its Telugu rom-com twist. Sree Vishnu & Nivetha Pethuraj led the love triangle, serenaded by Prashanth R Vihari’s melodies, inspired by a classic “OK Bangaram” tune.

Aravind Krishna, grappling with Borderline Personality Disorder since childhood, faces the intricate challenge of decision-making. Despite excelling in theory, he often leaves the objective paper blank, yearning for the unchosen option after decisions.

His discomfort around girls, intensified by a past incident, persists into adulthood. At nearly 29, Aravind contemplates abandoning the idea of marriage after 12 failed match-makings. However, the 13th matchmaking session introduces him to Swetcha, a straightforward and clear-headed girl who unexpectedly puts him at ease.

Swetcha, recognizing the sincerity in Aravind’s heart, agrees to marry him. Spending time together helps Aravind overcome his discomfort with girls. During a work project in Mumbai, he encounters Renuka, an unpredictable girl from Vijayawada. Renuka’s belief in destiny leaves a lasting impression on Aravind.

Their paths cross again in Mumbai, where Aravind becomes infatuated with her. However, an unexpected twist occurs when Renuka abruptly leaves after sharing her tragic past.

Amid confusion, Aravind pranks the cancellation of his engagement with Swetcha, leading to a surprise visit from her in Mumbai. Swetcha befriends Renuka, fostering an unexpected friendship. Returning to Hyderabad, Swetcha acknowledges the complexities and departs for Hyderabad.

Aravind’s father enlightens him on the positive outcomes of risk-taking in decision-making, prompting Aravind to make a firm decision. Successfully catching a bus, he proposes to Swetcha, overcoming his disorder and receiving acceptance, marking the beginning of their journey into marriage and happiness.
