The team of RRR conducted the pre-release event of the Telugu and Kannada versions of the film jointly in Bengaluru a few nights ago, which turned out to be a huge success. Things seemed to be going well for RRR, but they seem to have turned on their head now, with the people of Karnataka calling for RRR’s boycott in the state.
The main reason for this is that the film is not being released in the Kannada version in the state, and this hasn’t sat well with the audiences, who are upset that they have been tricked. #BoycottRRRinKarnataka is currently trending on Twitter, where Kannada fans are expressing anger towards the makers of RRR, for not ensuring the release of the Kannada version of the film.
On the other hand, RRR is all set for a grand release on March 25th around the globe. It is now to be seen whether the makers of RRR will be able to manage to release the Kannada version of the film in the end.
