Ahead of the release of his upcoming film Burrakatha, actor Aadi spoke to the media, as part of promotions and he looks pretty much happier with the way his career is shaping up now. It has been some long time, since Aadi has bagged a hit. But finally, he is confident about scoring a hit with Burrakatha, a Diamond Ratnababu directorial.
“I have been waiting for a hit and that is something that is far away from me since a long time. It took me time to learn and understand what kind of scripts even suit me. When Next Nuvve failed in making collections, I went into depression. I decided to give up and say goodbye to films forever. I locked myself at home and wasn’t even feeling like coming out to show my face to people. Thanks to my wife Aruna, who stood beside me and for helping me to come out of that phase,” said Aadi.
Talking about Burrakatha, the actor said that he was very much confused about accepting the script, when Diamond Ratnababu narrated him the script. “I couldn’t take a decision. So my dad also went through the script and he encouraged me to go ahead as the concept sounded very different and fresh. I play dual roles Abhi and Ram. Is it dual role or am I pretending to be two different people, is what you have to watch on screen. Ratnababu has directed the film really well and it has a lot of comedy that is going to entertain the audience really well,” said the actor.
Aadi has got more than five films in his kitty now and for the next one year, he is pretty much busy with back to back films. He says that he now has the clarity on choosing scripts and he is going to make the utmost use and best out of it.
