Chiranjeevi’s Lucifer remake stalled before going on floors

After the ongoing project, Acharya, Megastar Chiranjeevi has committed to join the sets of his next project under the direction of Tamil director Mohan Raja. The film is an official remake of the Malayalam hit, Lucifer and even had its formal launch ceremony earlier this year.

A couple of months back news also came out that the regular shooting of Lucifer remake will commence from the month of April. But the latest reports indicate that the film’s shooting has been postponed due to the sudden spike in the Covid-19 cases across twin Telugu states.

Sources confirm that as a first priority, Chiru will be wrapping up the shooting for Acharya in the next couple of weeks and stay away from the shootings until the second wave of Coronavirus slows down.

NV Prasad will be bankrolling Lucifer remake and has its music composed by Thaman.
