Chaitanya and Samantha film in first week of April

April month is the core Summer season time for Telugu Films. More than May, April month does seem to attract producers to come up with major releases that can take full advantage of Summer holidays.

Naga Chaitanya is coming as a cricketer in Majili and it is said to be the story of a failed district level cricketer who re-groups and plays at Ranji level, it seems. Shiva Nirvana is coming with an after marriage love story, it seems.

Kona Venkat is presenting the film and the team has confirmed the release date to be 5th April. Movie will have an advantage of early release as even Mahesh film, Maharshi went to the last week of April, as off now.

Nani is coming with Jersey, also a cricket film in April, but both the films have different themes and genres. Majili is romantic and Jersey is about self-realization and grit.
