Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita got married on December 4th at Annapurna Studios. In a recent interview the couple shared how their relationship grew over time.
Sobhita mentioned that she started following Chaitanya on Insta in April 2022. Their shared love for food helped bring them closer.
Despite living in different cities their first meeting happened at a cafe in Mumbai. They also had a memorable outing to a park in Karnataka and attended an Amazon Prime event together, which strengthened their bond.
They met again after a week during the promotions of their projects for Amazon Prime Video in Mumbai. Sobhita recalled, “I was in a red dress and he was in a blue suit. The rest is history”.
Sobhita was later invited to a New Year celebration with the Akkineni family and Chaitanya also met Sobhita’s parents.
One special moment for Sobhita was when Chaitanya flew to Mumbai just for a lunch date at Pali Village Cafe. She said, “It was so old-school in a way”. On a trip to Goa, Chaitanya proposed to Sobhita.
Sobhita also shared that Chaitanya loves it when she speaks in Telugu and encourages her to speak the language all the time, which brought them even closer.
