Actress, writer, and director Zoya Hussain is primarily seen in Hindi cinema. She received praise for her performance in the Anurag Kashyap film Mukkabaaz.

Delhi is the place where Zoya Hussain was born and raised. Her acting debut was in the movie Mukkabaaz. When she first met Anurag Kashyap, it was because of the script she had written, and she needed his opinion on it. Nevertheless, Anurag was unable to locate the script and asked Zoya to appear in his next Mukkabaaz. “Zoya Hussain is great in an excessively demanding part, mute but loud as can be, the feistiest heroine we’ve had in a while,” Raja Sen of NDTV said of her performance in the movie.
