Biography:

Vishwajoy Mukherjee is an Indian director who works in the field of film making and writing of digital entertainment and Hindi films. He made his mark in the OTT space with the coming-of-age military drama called Cadets that aired on JioHotstar in 2024. This series is set in a fictitious Armed Forces Academy of the late 1990s, and it talks about the journey of four cadets before the start of Kargil war. Mukherjee’s direction has been appreciated because he managed to bring together both emotional storytelling and military realism in the portrayal of such themes as courage, camaraderie, sacrifice, and resilience.

Vishwajoy Mukherjee is a very realistic filmmaker, known for his down-to-earth style of filmmaking and character-driven stories.
