Biography:

Vishal Mangalorkar is an Indian filmmaker and director whose forte includes Hindi film, commercials, and digital entertainment. Having spent some time directing advertising campaigns and branded content, he moved on to working on long format and decided to concentrate on emotionally driven stories. His expertise in different formats of visuals has led to a sophisticated cinema style and great knowledge of action, drama and human-centric story-telling.

Jeet Ki Zid (2021), ZEE5 original series became the debut long format project of Vishal Mangalorkar. This drama about a brave military officer of the Indian Army is inspired by the life of Major Deependra Singh Sengar. Featuring Amit Sadh, the series tells an inspiring story about overcoming life-threatening adversities by means of resilience and determination. The show was noted for its inspirational story line, realistic portrayal of military and emotional performances, thus making Mangalorkar’s first experience in the OTT sphere a success. Besides long format projects, Mangalorkar continues to direct commercials and awareness films like KEM Hospitals’ campaign.
