Among the popular Kannada television series that Vinod Dhondale has directed are Mithuna Raashi, Nannarasi Radhe, and Tripura Sundari. He apparently ran into financial difficulties after investing in the film Ashok Blade and directing Karimani and Mounaraga. He passed away in July 2024 at the age of 49. Among Vinod Dhondale’s well-known works are The Rise of Ashoka (2026), Mithuna Raashi (2019), and Tripura Sundari (2023).
