Vidya Pradeep

Biography:

Vidya Pradeep is a scientist and actor from India. She is presently employed in the US as a scientist. Saivam (2014), Pasanga 2 (2015), and Thadam (2019) are some of her films.

Vidya Pradeep finished her PhD in stem cell biology at a Chennai eyeve published her papers, which focus on ocular stem c hospital after earning a Master of Science in biotechnology. “International Journal of Cornea” and “International Journal of Cell Therapy” haells.

She was a Bharatanatyam practitioner when she was little. Vidya worked as a model and starred in a number of print and television ads while she was working for her PhD.

Vidya claims that her entry into the film and advertising industries was unintentional. She also starred with Yami Gautam and a number of other models in the music video for “Aa Bhi Jaa” by A. R. Rahman, which is taken from his studio album Raunaq. Vidya was signed by Lohithadas to appear in a movie, but the movie never happened.

After that, she signed on to appear in Aval Peyar Thamizharasi (2010) as a supporting part, making her screen debut as Dhyana. She portrayed the lead role in Virunthali (2010), her next motion picture. After noticing her, filmmaker A. L. Vijay decided to cast her as Sara Arjun’s mother in his critically acclaimed family drama Saivam (2014). She went back to her real identity for the movie and gained weight in order to play a middle-aged woman. The way the movie and its ensemble cast portrayed a family earned them praise from critics.
