Biography:

Indian actress Vidisha Srivastava, better known by her stage name Vidisha, works in Hindi television and South Indian movies. Her role as Anita Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!, one of the longest-running Indian comic sitcoms, is well-known.

Vidisha is originally from Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi. Shanvi Srivastava, an actress, is her younger sister, and she has an older brother. She completed a business management course in addition to earning a degree in biotechnology.

Vidisha began her career as a model, although she always wanted to be an actor. At the age of 15, she starred in Maa Iddari Madhya, a film produced by SP Entertainments. In the beginning of 2007, she released three songs: Alaa, Prem, and Athili Sattibabu LKG by E. V. V. Satyanarayana, which became popular.

Vidisha “looked gorgeous and she is the only saving grace adding to the film the glamour quotient of the film,” Oneindia noted in its review of Alaa. “Vidisha is superb in dance sequences and proved her mettle as a good dancer,” Sify commented of her performance in Athili Sattibabu LKG.

She also has adequate room to showcase her abilities. Indiaglitz stated in a similar vein that Vidisha “had performed well, besides filling the glamour slot.” She debuted in Kannada later in 2007 with Nali Naliyutha (2007).

Vidisha is a great fit for the part, according to The Times of India, however Rediff claimed that despite her attractive appearance, she hasn’t really figured out what acting is all about.2008 saw the release of her first Tamil movie, Kathavarayan, and 2011 saw the release of her first Malayalam movie, Lucky Jokers.

She was good and “may have some future in the industry if she takes care of her projects” when she made her Telugu film debut in 2012 alongside Devaraya. She also reprised her role in the Kannada movie Viraat. In December 2016, Vidisha tied the knot with Sayak Paul in Varanasi, her hometown Paul is a resident of Kolkata and works for a mining company. In July 2023, she gave birth to a daughter.
