Vedieka Dutt

Biography:

Born in the heart of North Calcutta, India, Vedieka Dutt’s passion for the arts started early. A graduate of South Point High School and later, Sikkim Manipal University with a Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication, she honed her storytelling skills before turning her gaze to a different kind of narrative – acting.

Vedieka’s journey to Mumbai, the beating heart of Indian cinema, in 2017 was fueled by a burning desire to grace the silver screen. Her debut in Nandita Das’s acclaimed “Manto,” alongside stellar names like Nawazuddin Siddhiqui, Rishi Kapoor, and Paresh Rawal, set the stage for a promising career.

Since then, Vedieka has graced diverse projects across languages, from Hindi films like “Operation Mayfair” and “Kathmandu Connection” to the lead role in the Telugu action thriller “Gangster Gangaraju.” Her talent has also shone in numerous television commercials, where she’s shared the screen with icons like Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Rana Daggubati, and Pooja Hedge.

Fluent in Bengali, Hindi, and English, Vedieka’s multilingual skills and captivating screen presence make her a rising star to watch.
