Biography:

Vasuki Sunkavalli, born on August 17, 1984, is a multi-talented Indian personality, excelling as a model, lawyer, entrepreneur, actress, and beauty pageant titleholder. She gained prominence when she won the prestigious I Am She – Miss Universe India 2011 title, earning the opportunity to represent India at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant held in São Paulo, Brazil.

Vasuki’s educational journey began at Symbiosis International University in Pune, where she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Law. During her time there, she undertook internships at local law firms and India’s National Human Rights Committee. Subsequently, she pursued a Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights from the Global Institute of Intellectual Property in New Delhi.

In 2009, Vasuki Sunkavalli earned a scholarship to attend New York University School of Law, where she obtained her LLM degree in International Law and Human Rights. Her dedication and passion led her to intern at Human Rights Watch in New York City and work as a Research Assistant at the United Nations’ Permanent Mission of India.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Vasuki ventured into the world of modeling in 2007, making her mark on the Indian fashion scene by participating in prestigious events like Wills India Fashion Week. Over the years, she graced the runways for renowned designers and appeared in ad campaigns for brands like Nike, Kit Kat, and World Gold Council.
