Vanitha Vijaykumar

Biography:

Indian actress Vanitha Vijayakumar was born on October 5, 1980, and has primarily acted in Tamil-language motion pictures and television series.  Vijayakumar and his second wife, actress Manjula, have one daughter, Vanitha. Preetha and Sridevi, Vanitha’s two younger sisters, were both actors in the past. Vijayakumar had three kids from his first marriage to Muthukannu Vellalar. Kavitha, Anitha, and actor Arun Vijay are some of her half-siblings.

She publicly clashed with her family in September 2018 after she wouldn’t leave a family home that she had originally hired for a film shoot in Ashtalakshmi Nagar. After that, her father Vijayakumar reported her to the police.

Actor Akash and Vanitha Vijayakumar tied the knot on September 10, 2000. In 2001, their son was born, and in 2005, their daughter. In 2005, the marriage was dissolved via divorce. The Madras High Court divided the children’s time between their parents after a protracted custody battle. Later, her son moved in permanently, first with his father Akash and then with his grandfather.

Vanitha Vijayakumar remarried to businessman Anand Jay Rajan in 2007. Both of them have a daughter. Rajan was granted custody of their child during the couple’s official divorce in 2012, following their brief separation. Vanitha proposed that her arguments with Vijayakumar were the reason behind the couple’s divorce, and that Rajan had unintentionally become embroiled in the controversy, which had negatively impacted her peace of mind and professional prospects.

Following her separation from Anand Rajan in 2010, Vanitha dated choreographer Robert commencing in 2013. Before calling it quits on their romance in 2017, the couple produced a movie together, MGR Sivaji Rajini Kamal (2015). Tamil parents raised Vanitha as a Hindu from birth. After going through several religious rites, she converted to Buddhism on March 30, 2022.
