Actress and model Tuhina Das is from Bengal. Das was raised in a Contai middle-class family before relocating to Kolkata to pursue a career in design. She started participating in the theater scene after moving to Kolkata, and she has since followed a career in acting. She got the Most Promising Actress award from the West Bengal Film Journalists’ Association for her breakthrough film, Aparna Sen’s Gharey Bairey Aaj. Das’s title role in the Bengali web series Damayanti gave her a big break. She made her Hindi-language début in 2021 and has since starred in a number of feature films and web series.
