Honey Rose

Biography:

Indian actress Honey Rose Varghese was born on September 5, 1991, and she primarily works in Malayalam movies. In addition, she has made a few Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil cinema appearances. Boyy Friennd, a 2005 Malayalam film, marked her acting debut. Her breakthrough performance was in Trivandrum Lodge in 2012.

In Moolamattom, Kerala, Honey Rose Varghese was born into a Syro-Malabar Catholic household. She attended Moolamattom’s S.H.E.M. High School for her education. Her degree in Communicative English from St. Xavier’s College for Women, Aluva, is a Bachelor of Arts.

Honey Rose began her acting career in 2005 at the age of 14, appearing in Vinayan’s Malayalam film Boyy Frnd. She was Manikuttan’s friend in the role. Her first non-Malayalam project, the romance drama Mudhal Kanave, was accepted in 2007. She made her Telugu screen debut in Muthyala Subbiah’s 50th film, Aalayam (2008).

Her career breakthrough came from playing “Dhwani Nambiar” in Trivandrum Lodge upon her comeback. After that movie, she made the decision to use the screen name Dhwani, but she went back to Honey Rose for Anju Sundarikal.

Rose signed a 2009 contract for Mallukattu, a Tamil project, and is now working on Pithavinum Puthranum Parishudhatmavinum, a Malayalam feature. In filmmaker Deepesh’s Pithavinum Puthranum Parisudhalmavinum, she portrays Sister Elsita, a nun. She also acted alongside Fahadh in the 5 Sundarikal featurettes Aami and Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus with Mammootty, where she plays a fearless and strong Malayali woman, and with Jayasurya in Hotel California and Thank You as Jayasurya’s wife.
