Biography:

Indian actor, screenwriter, and director Tharun Kishore Sudhir primarily works in Kannada cinema. The multi-starrer Chowka, which was a commercial success, marked his directorial debut. He has won two SIIMA Awards for best director and one Filmfare Award.

Tharun Sudhir is the son of former Kannada film star Sudhir and Malathi Sudhir. Tharun’s brother, Nanda Kishore, is also a Kannada filmmaker. Tharun received a degree from KLE College. He worked at the Ashoka Hotel for a year after finishing his hotel management school. Apart from his love of movies, Tharun aspired to be a professional cricket player.
