Tessa Joseph is an Indian model-turned-actress known for her work in Malayalam films and television. She made her film debut in 2003, starring opposite Mammootty in Pattalam, directed by Lal Jose.
Born to M.K. George and Achimma, Tessa completed her schooling at Mater Dei in New Delhi before attending St. Antony’s Public School & Junior College in Anakkal, Kanjirappally. She later graduated from St. Teresa’s College, Cochin. Her acting career began when she was noticed by Lal Jose while hosting the popular television show Hello Good Evening on Kairali TV.
Following her debut in Pattalam, Tessa took a break from films but remained active in television and commercial advertisements. She made a notable return to the film industry in 2015, portraying a journalist in Balachandra Menon’s Njan Samvidhanam Cheyyum. She went on to play significant roles, including “Rajamma” in Rajamma @Yahoo, Adv. Anu G. Nair in Marupadi (2016), and Sujatha, the mother of two protagonists, in Goldcoins (2017). Her performances have been recognized for their depth and versatility across a range of characters.
