Born to a South African father and a Canadian Japanese mother in San Antonio, Texas. As the youngest of three children (her two elder brothers were older), Tamiko participated in Taekwondo as well as other sports like dancing, softball, volleyball, and track & field. She has always loved martial arts and is currently training in boxing, kickboxing, Wushu, and Muay Thai.
Tamiko relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her aspirations in entertainment after earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington. She has worked on more than 100 films and is currently employed as a motion capture performer, actress, and stunt performer. Her work can be seen in a wide range of projects, including television shows, movies, advertisements, and internet material.
