T. N. Krishnachandran (born June 16, 1960) is an Indian actor, playback singer, and dubbing artist known for his work in Malayalam cinema and television. He made his acting debut in the 1978 film Rathinirvedam. Renowned for his dubbing talent, he lent his voice to actors Vineeth, Rahman, and Kunchacko Boban, notably in Aniyathi Pravu. He won the Kerala State Award for Best Dubbing Artist for his performances in Kabuliwala (Vineeth) and Aniyathi Pravu (Kunchacko Boban). With appearances in around 30 Malayalam films and over 1,000 songs to his credit, he made significant contributions to both Malayalam and Tamil cinema, collaborating frequently with music director Ilaiyaraaja, who introduced him to Tamil films through Kozhi Koovuthu.
Krishnachandran was born in Nilambur, Malappuram district (then part of Kozhikode) to P. Narayana Raja and Nalini Raja. He has a younger sister, Meera. He completed his primary education at GMHS, Nilambur, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Music, securing first rank from Calicut University at Government College Chittur, Palakkad. He later pursued an M.A. in Music from Madras University.
In 1986, he married South Indian actress Vanitha Krishnachandran at Mookambika Temple, Kollur. The couple has a daughter, Amritavarshini, born in 1990. They lived in Chennai until 2005 before settling in Thiruvananthapuram. His daughter married Navneet in 2016 and currently resides in Canada.
