Biography:

Suryapal Singh, a renowned figure in the Bollywood film industry, was a celebrated screenwriter and lyricist. He was born on July 23, 1986, in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. His educational journey took him through Jawahar Navodaya School in Mothan, and he pursued a degree in screenwriting from the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune. His journey into the world of Mumbai’s film industry began in 2012 when he ventured into screenwriting and dialogue writing, thanks to the opportunities provided by Pradeep Joshi and Arya Keshkar. Despite his young age, Suryapal displayed remarkable talent and rapidly evolved into a skilled dialogue writer, demonstrating his flair for writing since his early school years.

His career as a screenwriter officially began in 2018 with his debut film “Turtle,” which centered around the water scarcity issue in Rajasthan. The film not only achieved blockbuster status but also received the National Award for Best Rajasthani Film in 2019. Unrelenting in his pursuit of success, Suryapal followed this accomplishment with another hit in 2021, “Waah Zindagi,” which was based on the backdrop of the Indian government’s “Make in India” initiative.

The year 2023 marked a significant milestone for Suryapal as he unveiled his highly anticipated project, “The Kerala Story,” a film he had meticulously worked on for three years. This movie serves as a reflection of India’s secular nature, which aspires to embrace secularism but faces challenges due to certain harmful practices, such as religious conversions. Following the success of this film, Suryapal continued to create a series of prestigious and extraordinary cinematic works.

In addition to his work as a screenwriter, Suryapal Singh also made significant contributions as a lyricist, crafting ad jingles for several top brands, including Airtel, Tata Docomo, Tata Nano, Lifebuoy, and more. His multifaceted talent and dynamic prowess as a dialogue writer made him an inspiration in the film industry. He shone like a diamond in the industry, with a unique ability for crafting captivating dialogues and screenplays, a gift that seemed to have divine grace.
