Filmmaker Surya Manoj Vangala was born in Narasipatnam, Andhra Pradesh. After finishing his elementary schooling in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, he went on to earn his degree from BITS-Pilani. He started working as an assistant director for the 2012 movie “Ko Antey Koti” under the direction of Anish Yohan Kuruvilla. He then worked in the directing departments of well-known directors like Hanu Raghavapudi and Sekhar Kammula on films that included “Padi Padi leche Manasu,” “Anaamika,” “Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha,” and “Rakshasudu.”
His first directing project, ‘BRINDA,’ a web series starring Trisha Krishnan and Indrajith Sukumaran that Sony LIV commissioned, is scheduled to premiere in September 2023. In addition, he is now writing the screenplay for “BANDISH BANDITS” in Telugu on Amazon Prime Video. Dreamfarmers Pvt. is expected to be the success of his next production, on which he would be both the writer and the director.”
