Suriya Pradhaman, a graduate of Tamil Nadu’s Film and Television Institute, began working as an assistant director on the Tamil drama film Thangameengal (2013), which was directed by Ram. He worked with filmmaker Ram once more in 2017 on the movie Taramani. With the 2018 Tamil drama Peranbu, which starred Mammootty and Anjali, Pradhaman transitioned into film editing.
