Surbhi Jyoti

Biography:

Surbhi Jyoti started her career with Punjabi regional theatre and television but gained national recognition through her breakout role as Zoya Farooqui in the hit TV series Qubool Hai from 2012-2016. Since then she has played various types of lead roles in other hits, including Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai and Naagin 3. Despite being best known as a shape shifting serpent in its third season, she was also a notable special guest star at the grand finale of Naagin 4.

Outside of television, Surbhi has featured in some Punjabi films like Ik Kudi Punjab Di, Raula Pai Gaya, and Munde Patiala De. Additionally, she features in many music videos, often singing as well as acting. Her recent projects include the romantic thriller web series Gunaah, which she plays the lead role of Tara, and the musical rom-com mini-series Seven And A Half Dates opposite Karan Wahi. Overall, Surbhi’s combination of expressive acting style and charisma make her an incredibly versatile performer who continues to be one of the most recognizable faces in today’s Indian entertainment scene.
