Suma Sudhindra

Biography:

In the Carnatic music genre, Suma Sudhindra is an Indian classical musician and veena performer. In 2001, she received the Rajyotsava Award, the second-highest civilian honor in Karnataka.

Her gurus, Vidhwan Raja Rao and Vidhwan Chitti Babu, tutored her. Her home is in Bangalore. She has two daughters, and her husband works as a dentist. She collects bonsai fervently.

She possesses the Chittibabu style, which is characterized by the Veena’s melodious notes. She has performed and traveled extensively in Singapore, Malaysia, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Over the years, she has also served as the leader of other veena ensembles.
