Biography:

Suhani Kalita is a notable Indian actress and model with a diverse career spanning various film industries, including Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Bengali, in addition to a few Bollywood films. Her early recognition came when she won the Nandi Award for Best Child Actress for her role in “Hindustan – The Mother” in 2000.

Suhani’s educational background includes an MBA from the prestigious Indian School of Business (ISB). She is an alumna of the Rosary Convent High School in Hyderabad, and she completed her undergraduate studies at Aurora’s University.

Starting her career as a renowned child artist, Suhani transitioned into lead roles in her teenage years. She gained immense popularity as a child actor in films like “Manasantha Nuvva,” where she was affectionately known as the “child crush of the south.”

Aside from her acting career, Suhani also made her mark as a model. She worked with renowned designers such as Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Tarun Tahliani and represented various brands, including Neerus, RS Brothers, Malabar Gold, Samsung, Suraj Bhan Jewellers, DB Fashions, Kaasam Brothers, Saravana Stores, Videocon, Sisley, and Airtel. She featured in print advertisements for BSNL, RS Brothers, Karvy Finances, and Idea Cellular, and she served as the brand ambassador for prestigious names like Malabar Gold & Diamonds, RS Brothers, and Chennai Shopping Mall.

Suhani’s impressive filmography includes over 45 films, with 40 in Telugu, 5 in Hindi, and one each in Bengali and Malayalam, as of July 2007. Her talent earned her the Best Debutant Award at the South Filmfare Awards in 2007, and she was nominated for the Best Actress category at the Santhosham Awards.

In 2012, Suhani decided to step away from the film industry and focus on her professional career. She also embraced the world of travel influencing and has explored more than 20 countries. In 2022, Suhani celebrated her wedding to Vibhor Hasija in a grand ceremony in Positano, Italy, surrounded by family and friends.
