Following this, he wrote, directed, and starred in the short film “Evolucion.” His role as a Ninja in the short film “The New Guy” earned the distinction of being screened at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. In 2009, he played the role of a Kung Fu Instructor in Pedro Jaen’s film “Tras los Pasos Del Bandolero.”
In 2010, Steven relocated to Hong Kong, marking the start of his career in the Asia-Pacific region. His early projects included “Medallion of Kung Fu” alongside Gordon Liu and “Viral Factor,” directed by Dante Lam and shot in Jordan.
He further expanded his repertoire with the Indian movie “7 Aum Arivu,” filmed in Hong Kong, and “Ek Tha Tiger,” shot in Mumbai and starring Salman Khan. He also contributed to “Joker Game,” a Japanese film filmed in Batam, Indonesia, and “Iban Warrior,” set in the jungles of Malaysia.
