Stephen E. Rivkin

Biography:

Stephen Elliot Rivkin is a music video director and film editor from the United States. His most well-known editing credits include the Pirates of the Caribbean film series and Avatar, for which he co-edited with director James Cameron and received an Academy Award nomination. Rivkin has worked on three films with director Gore Verbinski and edited four films for filmmaker Norman Jewison. He is still working for filmmaker James Cameron on the Avatar franchise. Rivkin is a former president of the American Cinema Editors and an elected member of the group. In addition, he served as an associate producer on two movies.
