Indian filmmaker Sri Ganesh was born in 1990 and primarily works in the Tamil cinema business. In 2017, he directed his first motion picture, 8 Thottakkal. Ganesh’s involvement with Crazy Mohan’s theater group in high school sparked his interest in movies. Mysskin’s films, especially Nandalala, inspired him, and he joined his crew for Onaayum Aatukuttiyum (2013). The perseverance and forbearance of Rahul Dravid also serve as inspiration for Ganesh.

Ganesh was born close to Kumbakonam in Thiruvaikavur. Because of his father Sankaran’s job, his mother Alamelu was stationed in Chennai. Before relocating to Chennai to live with his mother, Ganesh spent his early years in Kumbakonam with his grandparents until the fourth grade. Due to budgetary constraints, he transferred to the Chromepet Government School after attending St. Paul’s School in Chrompet till the tenth grade. He received a B.Com. from Chennai’s Jain College. Ganesh’s brother is younger.
On September 7, 2022, Ganesh wed actress Suhasini Sanjeev. Until the day of their wedding, the couple had not disclosed their relationship to the press. Suhasini is well-known for her parts in the motion pictures Seethakaathi, Sarpatta Parambarai, and Nenjuku Needhi.
