Sreeram Ramachandran is an Indian actor known for his work in Malayalam films, television series, short films, music albums, and web series. He made his film debut in 2010 with Malarvadi Arts Club, directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, and later collaborated with him again in Thattathin Marayathu (2012). Sreeram gained recognition for his lead role in the sitcom Chumma on Amrita TV and played a notable second lead role in Artist (2013), alongside Fahadh Faasil and Ann Augustine. He became a household name with his portrayal of Jeeva in the popular TV series Kasthooriman on Asianet.
Born in Kozhikode, Kerala, Sreeram is the son of Palai C. K. Ramachandran, a senior Carnatic musician and the primary disciple of Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer. His brother, Jayaram Ramachandran, is a graphics designer and animator in the film industry. Sreeram completed his schooling at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kozhikode, and earned his engineering degree from AWH Engineering College, Kozhikode.
Sreeram’s entry into cinema was influenced by his college days when Vineeth Sreenivasan selected him for a small role in Malarvadi Arts Club, marking the beginning of his acting career.
