Sourabh Waghmare

Biography:

Sourabh Waghmare is a cinematographer based in Mumbai, India, specializing in shooting commercials, music videos, and fiction films. Despite starting his career as an IT engineer, his passion for the visual medium blossomed during his engineering days. His journey commenced with enhancing his photography skills at the prestigious J.J. School of Applied Art in Mumbai.

Over time, he developed a keen interest in the realm of moving images, culminating in the completion of a Master’s Degree in Cinematography from FAMU in Prague. With experience in shooting on 16mm, 35mm film, and various digital motion picture cameras, Sourabh places emphasis on utilizing lighting techniques to create the right atmosphere and convey emotions that complement the subtleties of the script.
