Biography:

Sonia Balani is a talented young television actress hailing from Agra. Currently, she is actively engaged in a romantic-comedy TV series called “Tu Mera Hero,” where she plays the character Panchi. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Soni Chaddha in the series “Surveen Guggal-Topper of the Year” and also worked with Ekta Kapoor in “Bade Achhe Lagte Hain” as Pihu.

Originally from Agra, Sonia pursued her dream of becoming an actress by making her way to Mumbai. Initially, she ventured into the world of advertising, but her true debut in television marked the beginning of her acting career. Sonia’s unwavering passion has always centered on achieving fame as an actress, and she holds a deep affection for Mumbai, the city that has bestowed upon her both fame and fortune.

Recently, Sonia, along with Hiba Nawab, was chosen to co-host the show “Nach Baliye 7” alongside Rithwik Dhanjani. She is affectionately called “Soni” by her friends and family. Sonia has also received nominations for the STAR Parivaar Awards in the categories of Favorite Jodi and Favorite Naya Sadasya (Female) for her work.

Notably, in preparation for her role in “Tu Mera Hero,” Sonia underwent a weight loss journey to participate in the show’s on-screen wedding track. Instead of opting for traditional dieting or gym workouts, she chose dancing as her preferred fitness regimen, as she has a distaste for gyms.

Sonia is an ardent fan of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s iconic film “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,” which has been a major source of inspiration for her role in “Tu Mera Hero.” She maintains excellent physical fitness and advocates for her fans to prioritize sound sleep, stay hydrated, and incorporate dance into their routines for a healthy lifestyle.
