Sonal Sehgal is an Indian actress who was born on July 13, 1981. She made her film debut with John Abraham in the highly regarded Aashayein, which was directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, a national award winner. She later starred in movies such as Lihaaf (2019), Mantostaan (2017), and Future to Bright Hai Ji (2012).
In 2011, she wed Naresh Kamath. Sehgal worked as an assistant to director and ad filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar, who made his feature film debut with Parineeta, prior to pursing an acting career. She was also a copywriter for some of Delhi’s top advertising agencies. The actress became a producer after starring opposite Russian actor Jurijs Dyakonovs in the Indo-Latvian sci-fi thriller Manny.
