Simon Day, sometimes known as Simon Paisley Day, is an English theater and film actor who was born on April 13, 1967. His most recent credits include the roles of Sir Cosmo Duff Gordon in the 2012 ITV historical drama Titanic, Timon of Athens (2008), Entertaining Mr. Sloane (2009), Private Lives (2010), Twelfth Night (National Theatre, 2011), and The Taming of the Shrew (Shakespeare’s Globe, 2012).

Gillingham, Kent, is where Paisley Day was born. He attended the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England, where he studied American literature and drama. After that, Paisley Day trained for two years at Bristol Old Vic before starting an acting career.

Paisley is a renowned theater performer who has been in plays like Troilus and Cressida, Hamlet, The Crucible, and The Taming of the Shrew. Sherlock, Being Human, Midsomer Murders, Doctor Who, and Spartacus are among his television credits. Churchill: The Hollywood Years, The Queen of Sheba’s Pearls, and The Eagle of the Ninth are among his big-screen credits.
