Biography:

Sija Rose is an Indian actress known for her work in Malayalam and Tamil Cinema. She gained recognition by hosting the reality show “Let’s Dance” on Amrita TV in 2014. Sija also participated in the reality show “Star Challenge” on Flowers TV. She made her debut in Malayalam cinema with a small role as Dulquar Salman’s sister in the film “Ustad Hotel,” and in Tamil cinema with the movie “Kozhi Koovuthu,” playing the role of a village girl named Thulasi in 2012.

Regarding her background, Sija completed her schooling at the Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir in Muscat, Oman. While initially interested in journalism like her father, she ended up pursuing a career in acting. After finishing her graduation in Mumbai, she had a holiday in Kerala during which she got into modeling and appeared in TV commercials. This eventually led to her entry into the film industry.

In 2012, Sija’s debut film was the Kannada movie “Magadi.” In her Malayalam debut “Ustad Hotel,” she portrayed a minor role as Dulquar Salman’s on-screen sister. She also played a village belle named Thulasi in her Tamil debut film “Kozhi Koovuthu.”

In 2013, Sija had a busy year with three releases on the same day: “Nee Ko Njaa Cha,” “Annayum Rasoolum,” and “Entry.” She was the female lead in “Nee Ko Njaa Cha,” playing the role of a hotel receptionist. Her roles in “Annayum Rasoolum” and “Entry” were supporting ones. She appeared in the Tamil films “Masani” and “Madhavanum Malarvizhiyum” as a Bharatanatyam dancer. She took a break from acting to work as an assistant director on the Hindi film “Traffic.”

After her involvement in “Traffic,” Sija took on acting roles again, including the film “Nellikka,” where she played the love interest of the lead character. She also signed up for the period-drama “Ennu Ninte Moideen,” based on a real-life love story.

In 2014, Sija showcased her hosting skills by hosting the reality TV show “Let’s Dance” on Amrita TV.
