Siddharth Thatholu

Biography:

Siddharth Thatholu hails from a middle-class family in Bheemavaram, Andhra Pradesh. His mother is a housewife, and his father is a mechanic, while his elder brother works at HCL in Pune. Siddhartha has done his B.tech in Electronics and Communications. Siddhartha was never interested in filmmaking or direction unlike other directors, it all began when he started editing wedding videos to earn a living while he was doing his engineering, his mother and father was never encouraged him to pursue this field, instead they wanted him to be a software engineer.

Opportunity knocked at his door when he got to work with renowned director Ram Gopal Verma. Siddhartha said, “ RGV wanted to do a web series and called my friend that’s how I came onboard.” After a test shoot, Siddhartha was selected to direct Bhairava Geetha 2018. Siddhartha was equally shocked and was in awe as he had not even directed a short movie earlier. Siddhartha got to learn a lot under the guidance of RGV; he said RGV didn’t come to sets, but he would call him twice a week. Siddhartha is a soft-spoken and polite guy. Siddhartha doesn’t like to think big, he wants to go with the flow.
